An Angel was Recalled

I haven't posted in a while. I've been wanting to share this information but its been hard to put it into words.
I got a call one Friday evening from my Father. He told me he had some bad news. I asked if it was Grandma (she's 92) he said no, and then I asked if it was my mother (she is 75). Again he said no. He said Lyndsay had been killed in an auto accident. At first the name didn't register, but then it hit me. My Father's grandchild, my Niece, and my Brother's only child was killed.
My brother and his baby's mamma lived in different states. They had a falling out a few years back and she up and moved to Phoenix, while my Brother stayed behind in Iowa.
He loved that child, she was his pride and joy. He kept up with the child support and she came to live with him every summer and they did fun things.
I haven't had a chance to talk to him since the funeral. What can one say? I know how you feel? I'm sorry? I have a son, my only child. I don't know how he feels, but I know it would devastate me if anything happened to him.
As far as the details, she was driving home from the little job she was doing and a truck ran a red light and hit her broadside. Did she suffer? Killed instantly? Was there alcohol involved? These are things I don't know. But what I do know an Angel was recalled to Heaven and she will be greatly missed. She is now 17 forever.
