Christmas Memory

I just hate Christmas shopping. Don't get me wrong, I do like Christmas, but I just can't stand going out and buying stuff for ungrateful people. There's traffic to contend with, long lines at the check out. I think its a waste to wrap up presents only to have the paper torn off a few days later and end up in a land fill.
When I was a kid, I had a paper route. It was the first Christmas that I had money of my own to buy stuff for my family. You know I just taped or stapled the paper sack that the present came in and put a name on the outside with a black marker. You know, my parents got a kick out of it and it didn't bother a soul that I didn't wrap the present.
I think it was my best childhood Christmas memory
